I love dogs (I call all of them puppies actually!). I love my children and my husband and then there’s these cute little furry things and the relationship I have with them. They make my heart melt! But it’s more than that. There’s an undying love with a dog, one that grows over time and for me simply brings joy. But most dogs don’t come trained and in order to make this relationship work training is involved. It’s time well spent and my sole recommendation is go visit the Dog Whisperer.

I’m not joking – there’s a Dog Whisperer on the South Shore. You can also call him William and he owns I Train Canine, which is where my two pups have gone and will continue to go so they bring joy and love in our relationship. But let’s talk about William. He’s a great guy, good looking (c’mon you thought so too!) and has everything going for him – so what did we do? We gave him a some stylish clothes, took some pictures and here’s where we ended up.

He might seem a little shy in front of Lorrain’s camera and with his new “gatsby look”  with clothes provided from Wish list Consignment (vintage retro shirt, fedora hat, and Tuxedo black blue velvet 1940 vintage jacket). But deep inside, make no mistake he Image may be NSFW.

has more confidence and control when it comes to training your dog. When we took these photos and styled William we found him working with the dogs challenging each to learn more.

If you want to own a a little (or big) puppy , you must have training. It’s great for the dog, for you and of course, for the family. There are three types of training that William focuses on – obedience training, social training and advance training. William offers all 3 through his Puppy School,  Obedience Basic Training and  Advanced Obedience If your dog passes the obedience school you might be able to enroll in K-9 training day care where your dog will learn how to socialize with other dogs, and continue his training with William.

Why have a dog in your life? My son Will says “a life without a dog is not a life at all!” I agree  and below are my reasons to have a dog:

1. Teaches children about responsibility – what it takes to love and care for others.

2. Teaches a family to love through touching hugging and petting.

3. Brings so much happiness to the relationships within the family.

4. Makes great companion – whether you are happy, sad, mad or glad.

5. If you rescue a dog it will bring great value of learning how to help our animals and more awareness of giving.

6. It’s amazingly entertaining and fun!
